Custom Solutions

Stellar has earned a reputation of being a solution provider with quality. Focusing on business needs has always been our priority throughout the application development process of each project.

In particular, we specialize in Conversion and Business Process Re-engineering of legacy applications. Well-planned and successful conversion from older legacy systems into a business oriented web based solution is our strength.

Stellar also creates new applications based on existing paper-based manual processes. In all cases, Stellar proceeds methodically to create and present a clear picture of clients' business needs prior to development. Our development process is based on a well-established and proven process of clear communications and understanding of the client’s requirements.

In all cases, the following steps have become the foundation of our project development efforts.

Study:
Through meetings, documentation, presentations and feedback with the client a comprehensive study document is created.

Design:
A fully detailed functional specification is created – ready to be used for development. The design is based on the requirements and prototype demonstrations, documents, meetings and feedback.

Development:
Throughout the development phase regular client coordination and meetings are conducted. Access to Stellar development server is given to the client to monitor progress and transparency. Client's IT team is provided with code reviews, database design and impact analysis to existing systems, if any.

Test:
Unit and Integration testing is a large part of Quality Assurance effort with proper bug tracking and fixing. Regression testing is a key to such effort.

Implementation:
Implementation is done by working side-by-side with client's IT department and following clients IT protocols.

Training and Technology Transfer:
Following user acceptance, effective technology transfer and training to client users is the final step of the project.

Support:
Any change in the application is acted on immediately to minimize the impact of the client's operation and production.
